On writing, gtd, moleskines, and more

Several postings I have looked at recently which, of course, all revolve around some of my favorite topics: analog or digital, moleskine/filofax or pda, writing etc.

We start from this article from the american chronicle on writing tools authored by Bill Webb. Perhaps, the gist of the article is this sentence: They don’t have to be expensive, but they have to be “right”, referring to the quality of his
writing instruments, and of course the moleskine notebook reigns supreme here.

Over at humble ink, Scott advises about turning a moleskine into a gtd system following and personalizing on some of the ideas presented at hyalineskies.

As a reminder of other means of gtd keeping, Steve argues in favor of the ever-trusted filofax. His best argument: it is cheap and does not need a change in batteries, it does not break and, of course, it makes other turn and give you the
look.

Enjoy reading,

I.
